Hi all,
Current credit score around 640.
5 Portfolio Recovery accounts with payment arrangements totaling 4500 dollars.
If I pay these off on one shot after PRA deletes any estimate point increase.
Thanks all
Too many factors are at play to really know. It's different for everyone but I had 2 collections recently fall off: first one I had a 22 point increase, 2nd one nada. So don't be disappointed if you don't get the increase you are looking for. Just focus on your report, the score will come.

And what credit score are you looking at? Are you saying all 3 FICO scores are around 640 or are these Vantage scores (credit karma and other free sites)?
Vantage scores are more volatile to changes on your credit report. As mentioned above, we have no other credit profile information, such as are these your only baddies and they will all be removed or are there orther derogatory accounts too? Do you have any positive accounts on your credit reports?
We will not be able to pinpoint a score change, but if these 5 CAs are the only negative items, then you would see a nuce boost in scores. Thing is since they are collection accounts, I am guessing there are the original tradelines on your credit reports as well, so this will still keep your scores suppressed. Even if the COs are at $0.
Fingers crossed you are getting a nice score change, but don't get discouraged, it will keep increasing with time.
Good luck!
So for me, I had 4 collections on 2 bureaus and 5 on the other. They were all the same except for the 5th one on the last bureau. I got 3 off and didn't see much increase. But when I got that 4th one off, the 2 bureaus that only had 4, increased 46 and 41 points! The other bureau that still had 1 collection on it, only increased 3 points. That last collection is paid and is supposed to be removed next week so I'm excited to see what happens.
as far as what else is on my reports, I have several paid charge offs on all 3 of my reports and I have 2 defaulted student loans that have since been consolidated and have been in good standing since dec 2019. So definitely a dirty one but definitely saw major increases after that last collection was deleted.
like they said above, everyone's credit is different but I hope that helps a little.

Its going to depend if this will clear out all your collections or if you still have some on your report. If this clears out your collection, then you could get upwards of a 40 point bump.
@blb2397 - In my experience I've seen this go either way. I've had collections delete and I see an increase or decrease. There truly isn't a formula to this because there are so many variables that it just isn't easy to predict what will happen. I've even in some cases seen a bigger immediate increase from paying a collection in full, versus one removed where I saw a score decrease. The simple answer is that the immediate impact could either be a higher or lower score. But within 1-3 months usually the true affects are seen.

Given your just looking for estimation, I'll give the line at 50 points! 🃏
Really depends. Earlier this year I had 3 collection accounts reporting and have since been removed. I gained maybe 5 points on the first removal, 14 on the second removal and 10 on the last removal. I expected more gains but I did have many CO's reporting which were still supressing my scores.
