Re: Experian - Credit One Bank - Question - Help Needed!

Mine never did.  Once it is sold and closed they can't report a current CO.  That would be like reporting a late after it was sold.

After disputing my credit one several times ( still there is a CO) I actually had a 10  point increase! Ha! dont know why, everytime it came back verified it sould say new account even thought it is an old charge off.  But the dates keep updating if you keep disputing.  The OC can report updates every month until it falls off your report or until you pay it.

Also, as far as I was reading a drop in score can happen because you just updated an old account that nothing was going on with for a long time.  Just like if you pay an old charge off you can actually see a score decrease (sometimes) if there was no activity on the account for years.  (((I could be wrong..just what I have read)))

Yes, they can report updates every month until it is paid or sold.  The only date that should change when you dispute should not drop your score.  If you dispute too many times they will call it frivilous.
