Payment of debt is not the same as CR deletion, even with a PFD with the CA.

What about all the prior postings made by the OC on derogs on the OC account prior to the collection?

Payment, even if with a legitmate PFD agreement with the CA, does no address any remaning OC account drogs.

Thanks I understand the OC derogs will still remain. Again I was just looking for an educated guess on how much my score would increase once the CA removes there trade line for that account.

Kronster, there are so many factors in FICO scores (look into bucketing, for instance), that it's really difficult to predict and is essentially voodoo.  If a 2 year old collection is about to be deleted and your most recent one is 4 years / older, probably "significant" like in the 40-50 point range is my best guess.  I certainly wouldn't put money on that prediction, though.

They got the quick re-score done today. Score went up 37 points. Moving forward with the purchase of my home. Thanks for all the help getting me there.
