Feeling Defeated

I have 3 last medical bills that I have been trying so hard to get removed my my credit report and I cant seem to get anywhere with them. I went to the hopsital and got a letter stating that I had recieved charity adjustments and that I did not owe the medical bills. I called EQ to start the process of getting them removed and wanted to make sure I could upload my documents. She assured me that she would start the process and that I would then be able to upload them. Now I have 3 disputes going and no way of uploading the documents as they will not allow me to edit the disputes Smiley Frustrated I decided I would put them on pause and just call back in the AM to see about how I get the documents to them. Talking to the CB is extremely frustrating to begin with as I cant even understand half the people I speak to on the phone.

I then tried to move onto EX thinking it might be easier. According to the site will not accept my dispute nor allow me to upload my documents either! Im extremely frustrated at this point. Needless to say, I'm feeling QUITE frustrated today Smiley Frustrated

Re: Feeling Defeated

Don't be frustrated. Print a copy of your dispute and mail it along with your supporting documents. Make sure you put the dispute letter, etc on the letter.

I had an acct I disputed online, I think it was with EX or EQ....acct wasn't removed. Tried to file another dispute online and the CRA refused siting I've filed a dispute on that acct before. After several failed attempts of not being able to do it online, I sent it in the mail along with the supporting documents. It came right off my CR!

Re: Feeling Defeated

Don't give up I've been trying for weeks now to get 3 tax liens off my TU and today I called and the rep told me a special department is handling my case. I guess it is for me calling them everyday and have since file a complaint with the CFPB. At times it can be frustrating but it will get done.

Did you just mail the documents in with the account number you were disputing. How were you able to print off the actual dispute? Or did you just write up a letter with the account you were disputing and send in the documents with it?

I wrote a letter and included all pertinent info. Then I mailed it certified. I mentioned printing it because you should be able to print it if you can access it online but you do not have to.

For the medical collections google the HIPAA Letter Process follow it exactly as laid out. If you have problems finding the website or any questions PM me, if you have already started a dispute you will probably have to wait for it to be completed before you can use this process.
