Filed a report with the CFPB and the debt collection came back that they cannot find my account number or Info in their system. They are now asking for my account number, SS# and name?
From what I can see in the 1st complaint filed from CFPB all that was given.
Can I take the response I got and send that off to the Credit Agencies as proof they have nothing on this to have it removed?
Ideas? Thoughts? I dont want to keep responding to them just buying them time.... but Im not sure what to do now?

Its their responsibility to find the account(s) that they report, I would not give them any of the information requested and rebutt to the CFPB with a demand for deletion from your CRs.

- Just did that... Ill use the report too as a PDF to file with the credit agencies since they cannot find my account or name.
Let us know how it goes. I have several complaints with cfpb and so far I have gotten pretty good results. Thank goodness for somebody for consumer protection.
