So for those that are trying. Don't give up. My score would have been a bit higher had I not applied for a bunch of useless store cards...
Congrats on your progress - you're awesome!

Congrats on your success! Im still in the mid 500's myself but up from where I started. One thing rebuilding my credit has taught me is patience. Lots of patience!
Yes, sir. One piece of advice I can give to anyone who is rebuilding does not apply for useless cards just because you can. Stick with the 3 cards + 1 installment rule (like SSL paid down to 8%), and just garden. My score would have been a bit higher had not for crazy inquiries and AAoA took the beating.

😂 Ain't this the truth. I shouldn't have applied for all my cards just because I could get approved. Should have done 1 every 6 months. Ah well, what can you do but wait.
The temptation can be hard to resist lol. When I saw the score went up. I was like: Let me see if I can get this one. Lol. And when I got one approved. It's like shark got the taste of blood. I got a bunch of useless store cards and credit cards and ended up canceling them all except two (Amazon for 5% cashback and Lowe's), and trimmed all the major credit cards down to 3 cards as well.
Fantastic job!!!! I've certainly been learning patience. My 3B updates tomorrow, and I'm very anxious....but I wont be applying for anything
I'm stuck at 665 TU, 660 EQ, and 652 for Experian.
Not much movement at all.
Store cards help. They add to your overall available credit.
