First Premier Question

I have a CO with first premier for $400. DOFD January 2007. I have tried to call them to have them removed since I paid them in feb 2008. Do I continue to try GW with them or dispute it through the CRAs?

Re: First Premier Question

First Premier does not accept good will letters. I had a long talk with their credit reporting manager and she said they had stopped accepting them and had to post it on their website to let people know. I just paid off a charge-off through them that was affecting my UTIL. I have to wait till Nov 2014 for it to fall off.

Re: First Premier Question

Ok thanks. Are you seeing that affect your score in anyway, regardless of the payoff?

Re: First Premier Question

A CO will always be scored as a CO.  Paying it off would help in utilization if it was factored in.

I would continue with the GWs.  I have seen a few posts where some have had success with them, even after they said they won't accept them.
