First Premier question

First Premier (OC) is reporting on my CRA as CO.  It is outside of SOL.

I don't even want to bother w/ PFD letters, so what is the proper way I go about paying them?  Should I call them to find out payment address?

Also, if I pay them will it re-age my account at all?  It is due to fall off January 2011, so that won't change if I pay it off, correct?

Re: First Premier question

I also had a CO with FP and they did not have a CA reporting on my credit report.Send in a check and put your account number on it. They'll cash it. They cashed my check .  You probably won't have any luck by calling them, it seems that if you input your account number or social over the phone, they'll probably tell you to deal with the CA.

Now, they cashed the check on Jul 21 but have not updated the balance on my account, so I disputed it with the CRA's....By paying them you are avoiding another potential collection, even though it will drop soon..

I  used the address on my cr - 3820 N Louise Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104.

Sorry I can't answer your question about re aging....

You say they are reporting as CO.  Does this account show a balance?  Or does the bal show $0 ??

Once it is COd nothing can change the DOFD.  It will still fall off January 2011.

Re: First Premier question

Did you send a letter with it?

I don't have my full account number because my CRAs block out the last digits.

Should I put my social security number on the money order?

Should I do a money order or cashier's check?

Should I send it CMRRR, or just CM?

Mine is showing:  601 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD, 57104

Re: First Premier question

EQ is showing a DOFD as 7/2004.  That means it will come of 7/2011 - 01/2012.

Re: First Premier question

I found it on my hard copy of Experian....

Can it report a whole year difference between CRAs?  Because look above @ my Experien and how it reads.

Re: First Premier question

Sorry, I read it wrong.  EQ is showing 3/2004 as DOFD.  I do not find a DOFD for EX.

Re: First Premier question

I have the same exact issue with fp...down to the $$ amount.

When I called to pay it off they transfered me to a collection agency even though sears is the one reporting.

I was thinking of paying the ca & sending a gw to sears?
