Hello All,
The only negatives I have remaining on my CR are my two FP charge-offs from 2012. So I called and asked for a PFD and of course that was a NO!! SO, Here is what I was thinking, and please be honest with your feedback.
I was thinking to send them a letter asking to re-establish credit with them. Basically thankig them for giving me a chance during my prior rebuilding phase (And then I got pregnant and had to stop working as I worked direct care at an adolescent mental and behavioral institution). ALong with this letter I would say something like "I would like to re-establish my credit with FP. Upon succesful payment of these two accounts, I am positive I can open another line of credit with you all that will not default. I have since secured employment and have attached paycheck stubbs to prove income and stable employment."
Do you think that by asking to re-establish credit they will delete the prior negatives? Has anyome ever tried this? Also that phone call resulted in them reporting to the CRA that I had an actual payment in the amount of 137 and 147 on the other account. I disputed this because I ad never made an actual payment to them I simply alled to get a PFD.
Thanks
I sent you a PM with something that could be helpful.
