Out of the 50 or so GWs I sent between DW and I for 3 accounts, I received maybe 7-8 responses. In our case, the creditors we sent the GWs to are notorious in not responding (Americredit, CapOne, and Aspire).
If I haven't heard from one of the companies I sent the goodwill letter to and I don't see any activity on my scoring, should I follow up with them? If so would another snail mail with the original letter and a follow up or a message online asking for an update be appropriate?
It's been nearly 30 days and I have heard back from 2 of the 3 companies I contacted. I didn't know if there was an "average" waiting period to re-engage.
