I'm starting to rebuild my credit. I have had good credit for the past seven years(720 and above with no late payments), until recently when I started to fall behind in my credit card payments. I'm still sorting out the debt I owe and my budget, and I've recently become unemployed. My unemployment compensation will be enough to cover my expenses after I finish making some major adjustment. Anyway I will post more information about my current situation as I go along and develop a plan. In the meantime, I have prepared GW to the following creditors:
Capital One** 04/24/13 update** I emailed CEO on 04/23/13 . On 04/24/13An Executive Office Rep called me and told me they will not remove any payment history reported unless there was an error. She asked me if there was anything else that she could help me with, and I asked her to put in a request for a CLI she informed me that should could put in a request for a manual review to have an actual person determine whether or not to issue the CLI. I will be sending a GW letter to the main address via snail mail CMRRR in the next few days.
Chase ** 04/24/13 update** I emailed the Executive office on 04/23/13 and I requested a read receipt via outlook mail. On 04/24/13 I received conformation that my email has been read. I will stand by for a follow up call or email from Chase.

I'm not sure if I will have any success, but I have to start somewhere. All of these accounts are still open with the original creditors and only have 1-2 payments that were reported to the CRA. I will keep you posted to let you know if I have any success!!
