I would think you should be able to get approved thru Cap one as long as you have had the card with them atleast 6 months, no missed payments, and kept the utilization low. If you have done all 3, I say you are good. However, keep in mind your score might go up 10 points or down 10 points with the new app. But 6 months from now it would be to your benefit to have had 6 months of payments on an unsecured card. After 6 months an inquiry will have a minimal effect on your score. I second the poster above me.
Cap1 or maybe a GE backed card would probably be your best shot.
