I'd like to add to Scapegrace's comments by mentioning that if you don't get an answer quickly, to be patient!! Slipping a little "bump" in your thread never hurts, either!!
Simply put, there are times that I've read posts and thought that I might know the answer, but didn't post. Why? Because if I'm WRONG and no one comes behind me to correct me (and correctly instruct the OP), I stand to do MUCH more harm than good!! Personally, I'd rather keep my mouth shut and my fingers still than cause anyone's FICOs or financial situation to worsen because I MIGHT know the answer.
I'd rather err on the side of caution rather than pride!! Especially when someone else is taking the risk!!!
But if you don't get an answer quickly, don't lose hope. Chances are, the best person to answer your question simply hasn't seen it yet. Bumping your thread a few times is always permissible. And remember: if you have a question concerning such-and-such, chances are, someone else does, too!!!
As for the Mod's scores ... think about it. I don't think you become Mod by belonging to the forum for a couple of weeks!! Of course their scores, for the most part (some actually only have what would be considered "average" scores -- they make boo-boos just like the rest of us!), are going to be higher!! If they've been here long enough to have high scores, one would hope that they were conversant enough to have learned something along the way!!
As for me, I've been mildly censured by the Mods from time to time ... I've posted links to "violating" sites, given opinions that were incorrect, and otherwise just plain screwed up!! But they've helped me and my family so much!! The occasional censure as I learn what's appropriate and what's not is FAR out-weighed by the benefits!!!
So, please, don't lose faith in the Mods here ... their job is not an easy one. And I'm fairly sure it's more often a thankless one than not.
