Do I send that customized letter off to the collection agency?....first?
Do I dispute the medical bills on Transunion, Equifax and Experian AND send this letter off?
My grand plan is to follow Why Chats way to get the verification then send payment with inserts and get it deleted from my credit report entirely as they are all medical debts!
I absolutely don't want to check the wrong thing and have them brush me off entirely, blegh.... I also dont want all of this hard work to be for a waste.
I talked to the CA a while ago before I knew the HIPAA process existed and she said there is absolutely no way to have something removed from your credit report even if its a medical debt, period. *?*
ALS719,
You have to chose the response that best suits your situation. When they investigate and it stays on and comes back verified then you start the Hippa process, if not it may be deleted and you do not have to do anything else. Do not ever talk to the CA , always do it in writing.
