Help Increasing Score

I live in the suburbs of Chicago, IL.  I did pull my score before and after.  I actually have the score watch through MYFICO.  My score was the same and still is the same.

I do have other collection records that are 2 years old, but only that one judgement.

I recieved a letter from Experian stating that the judgement was deleted from my CR.  I checked and it was deleted, but my credit score did not change.  Not one point!!!

ScoreWatch monitors your EQ score, not your EX score.

Re: Help Increasing Score

I did order all 3 from another website prior.

So now should people be told that no matter how hard they try to pay off all those collections and try to get rid of them, their credit scores will not go up or change until the 7 years have passed for all collections that have been placed?

The process to get the judgment vacated, did not help me.  It has been 2 months and I have only been hoping that it will change.

No luck yet people!!! not for me atleast. Smiley Mad

Maybe others will have more luck when they get theirs removed.

Re: Help Increasing Score

If you ordered your scores from another website, chances are they were FAKO scores.

You can no longer get your EX score directly.

You can get a EQ FICO score here and at EQ(just make sure you are getting the FICO and not their version).

You can get a TU FICO score here and at a TU website they have set up.

Scores gotten anywhere else are FAKO score and have no relationship to FICO scores.

Re: Help Increasing Score

I just ordered them here on myfico and truecredit, which is through transunion.

Well what can I do but wait.

Do you think it will take much longer.  I've paid all my current bills for the past 2 years on time, and all my collection accounts are all paid off.

It's just really disappointing, because I would like my credit score above 700 before I shop for a mortgage.

Right now TU and EX have me at 679.

Re: Help Increasing Score

Scores from TrueCredit are FAKO.

Paying collections do not help your score. Since they are already paid, send GW letters to the collection agencies reporting them.

I would also advise you to start a new thread, laying out your situation, and ask for more guidance and boosting your score.

This way we can let the OP have their thread back.

Re: Help Increasing Score

When you are on the page that list all the different threads, look towards the top and it will say "new message".

This is how you start a new thread.

I moved some of these postings over into a new thread to kind of sort the other thread out. We can continue on this one.
