I had the same issue when I first started, no account numbers, phone numbers, etc. Your best bet for all of that information is to pull your actual credit report. You get one free from each bureau each year, so if you haven't pulled one in a year, do that. Otherwise you can by one for 10 bucks ish directly from the credit bureau.
First, make sure you pull the actual credit report, either from annualcreditreport.com for your yearly free version or from the actual credit bureau. And no, pulling your report won't affect your score. Second, you would send the GW letter to whoever is reporting it on your CR. Lastly, with all the accounts paid already, sending a GW to BofA won't hurt you, either long or short term.
Well, unless you have already pulled them in the last year, they are provided free at annualcreditreport.com. Otherwise getting them from the bureau is best. As far as where to send the letter, if the original creditor sold the account to a collection agency and you paid the CA, and the CA is reporting, then that's where the letter goes. Who is the one with the entry on your report, the OC or the CA?
The Ca but wanted to see if its possible the oC would remove them.
The OC cannot remove a CA account. Especially since they no longer own the debt. If they did own it, it would be possible to have the debt recalled from the CA.
O, all i can send the OC would be a GW since they sold the account to a CA. and the CA wi would send a PFF?
