I have been trying to rebuild my credit over the last few months. I have moved from only having a secured $250 credit card to now having multiple credit cards. My score i moving in the correct direction finally, and I am paying of cards as quickly as I can often with multiple payments a month. I also was able to refiance my car loan from 15.99% to 10.26% (baby steps, lol) 2 months ago.
RIght now I am working on some baddies that are on my report. The 2 things that this message apply to are the 2 collections that appear on my accounts:
-National Credit Systems- $605 (from move out fees that I did not know about, and quite honestly are wrong, but I have no way to prove). Placed for collections on 11/2008 and are set to drop of 5/2015. I tried to challenge online through credit agencies, denied. I called and stated that these charges are wrong, but I would be willing to pay in full to have them remove said item. They said all they would do is mark as paid. If anyone has a contact for here that could help with a PFD, I'd be sooo happy.
-Premiere Credit of NA- $225 (from a traffic violation 10/08). placed for collection on 4/09 and set to drop off on 9/2015. I called in and and asked for a PFD, they said that they would report that it was paid but "could not" delete the file. Same as above, if anyone has a contact to help me do a PFD I'd be happy.
I've managed to move my score from about 540 to about 610 (FICO) over the last 4 months, just trying to get closer to respectability and get myself on the path of getting qualified for a home loan in the next 1 to 2 yrs.
