Help with First Premier!

My credit reports show a charged off account from FP. I have read previous posts about denials on PFDs, but I decided to call anyway and try my luck. The rep I spoke with said my account was no longer with them, but was being handled by an outside collection agency. How should I handle this situation? The CA has not placed the account on my credit reports! Thanks.

What r your intentions? If it was me i'd call CA and set up an settlement for them not to report. Dont want them popping up at the wrong time.

PFD won't work with FP.  They outsource their collections, but keep reporting the balance in your utilization.  So it is best that you pay it to lower the utilization.

They also will take the payment in house.  Just call them and have them transfer you to the collections department...they will take it...
