Help with MCM!

I have a paid collections account with MCM.  I have sent 2 GW letter with no success.  My question is what is my next step.  They are reporting a different date than the OC, and the OC isn't even reporting the account to my credit anymore.

Goodwill letters take some time, keep sending them, and the higher up the chain the better.

Who is MCM? Is that Midland?

The DOFD of the OC must be followed by the CA, if it has passed for the OC then just dispute it as obsolete with the CRAs

There are sooooo many threads about Midland...if was your debt and you paid it, then sent GW letters you did what you were supposed to do. NOW, if they reporting incorrectly, I think you can send them a direct dispute requesting or demanding that they remove the TL because they are in violation of FCRA by reporting inaccurate information?? There are some pros here that can help you with this.  You can get rid of them, but they can be a very touch nut to crack. Get ready for a ride...
