Help with Some Credit Report Errors

So I have some students loans on my report.  Aside from 2 30 day lates in 2011, these are the only negatives left on my report.  I have Suntrust Bank, which was the original bank I borrowed from and Nelnet the loan servicer.  The student loans went into default, which I have since consolidated and I'm paying on time.

Nelnet I'm pretty much screwed until 2015 when they fall off naturally.  I've sent some GWs, but I don't expect too much because they have a reputation for shooting people down with GWs.

Anyways, what's weird and I'm confused about is the Suntrust loan.  It's reporting as 30 days late on 2 of my reports (EQ and TU) for all 10 loans, but showing paid on time on the EX report.  And it's also showing that the date sold was the date of 1st delinquency.  It doesn't seem like I ever recieved a bill directly from Suntrust either, but rather it just came straight from Nelnet.

I disputed that I was ever late with the CRA and they came back as verified.   Oddly enough though, in their graphic display it doesn't show them as 30 days.

I'd like to get these lates removed for 2 reasons:

1) Because it will help me short term.

2) Because if they weren't ever really late I can really use the AAoA (they were opened starting in 2000)

So I'm not sure what to do next.  Can I do a DV with Suntrust since they originally held the loan.  If not, what do you guys suggest.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Help with Some Credit Report Errors

Never give up on GWs. I have seen Nelnet success out there.

However....based on your screenshot, Suntrust is reporting 30-day lates from 2008. Those aren't hurting your FICO at all and I would not do anything to that TL whatsoever. I'd let it be. Removing 30-day lates from 2008 won't do anything to your FICO. Conversely, if Suntrust decides to delete the TL instead of removing the late then you'd lose a 13-yr TL. This still factors into your AAoA/length of history. It'll continue to do so for as long as it shows on your report(s).

DV letters are allowed by the FDCPA and per the FDCPA, DV letters can only go to CAs.

Ok, I'll leave it be I suppose. Thanks for the advice.
