Help with Sprint Collection

Good morning group,

I have an outstanding debt to Sprint.  Currently there are two different companies trying to collect it.  I want to pay it off(tired of fighting it).  How do I know which one to pay, and how do I pay it and get them to REMOVE it from my report?  Any help would be apreciated, Thank you in advance.

I have created your own thread on this, I changed the title and left everything else intact.

Only one CA can have collection authority at a time, the newest one is most likely the one that actually has the authority to settle. The older one I would dispute as not having collection authority as per CRA rules only one collector (the one with authority) can report on a collection at a time. As for the one that does have the authority you want to attempt the PFD but before you do that you might contact Sprint and see if they will recall the collector in exchange for full payment if they will it drops the CA with authority off your report as well.

same with me... I sent a DV to both so I can see who has the debt before i pay. Then I will negotiate with a PFD whoever is currently the true collector and dispute the other with the credit bereau to get removed since legally they are not able to collect.

Hi There NikJ,

I am trying to locate a sample DV letter.  I am dealing with Enhanced Recovery Company and they are collecting for Sprint Cellular. This is my last debt to clear and hopefully get all my points covered.  Any help would helpful.
