Help with Stellar Recovery

I have an account that got placed with Stellar Recovery and was told that they do not delete accounts.. The balance was paid to comcast, I never received a dunning letter or any sort of communication. They said that they tried calling but I'm a student and often times miss calls while in class, and they said that they are not required to leave voicemails which begs the question... how am I supposed to know that I need to contact them?

I contacted comcast and they said that they have no ability to request deletion, the amount was only 253.22.. What are my options?

I had an account from Comcast go to Stellar. I contacted them and paid it over the phone. Next week it was reported as paid and the account closed. They also lowered the total amount I owed. I was also told that after 30 days I could request a copy of the account being closed on paper. They were very easy to work with. The woman I spoke with was polite and gave me all the information I requested.

I'd pay it. That low of an amount. They are fast at reporting (1 week) and it can help your score. I just paid mine off from them in feb. It was originally for 350 but they lowered it to 260. They are by far one of the easiest agencies to work with it seems.

Oh wait just noticed you said you paid it. After 30 days you can have them send you a notice in the mail saying you paid. Just call them
