This is a repo from 2006/2007. I was living in WY at the time of the repo. It is from OK. I am back in OK and they garnished my wages to pay off the balance. This should show a $0 balance I would think?
Can anyone advise on how to get rid of this one all together? This is a small town bank, not a big place like Toyota of Ford or some of the others I read about on here. Hoping to get it off my reports at best.

It appears that, since they were able to get a court ordered ganrishment, the issue of the legitimacy of the repo itself has been addressed and affirmed by the court.
I presume the repo itelf is not the issue, but only obtaining deletion of the reporting of the repo from your credit report?
If the repo itslef is factuallly accurate, the only basis for getting the reporting of that fact deleted from your credit report would be to obtain their good will in deleting that reporting. Payment of the debt does not negate the fact of that prior action, and thus is not basis for requiring deletion of the reporting.
Are they also reporting a judgment of the court that preceded the garnishment action?
If so, some states provide for vacating a judgment once it has been satisfied
I am not under the impression that since it is now paid that they should just remove it. I would just like some suggestions on getting it removed.
The only report I can look at right now is the EQ report you get when you sign up here. I posted what info I have about the repo.
How exactly do I find out what states vacate upon the judgement being satisfied?
Nevermind. I misread the initial post.
