How long ago did it expire because mine expired when I finally paid it but i still paid the offer they sent me. If you check your account with them online it will show you the offers they have for you to see if its still there.

Same here.  I received a letter with an offer and just put it away.  When I realized they were offering PFD, I checked the date on the letter and it had expired.  However, I went to the account online and the same offer was still showing and I jumped on it.  That was on 3/22 and this week my accounts have started updating, first showing what I paid, then updated to settled.  Now I just waiting for the delete!

Re: Help with negotiating with Portfolio recovery over the phone.

Im a disabled Vet and they tried to sue me and I got a Lawyer who was nice enough to take care of one of the accounts. Lol I wasnt smart enough to take care of the second at the same time. But now they leave me alone. With this PFD and being my last collection account I think I have to take care of it. Can I enter my SS# to get a base number for a discount and call to try to lower it? What do you fine people suggest?

Yes, if you go to their website there will be an option to log in with your phone number, last name and the last 4 of your social.  That should pull up your accounts and any pending offers.  Good luck!
