I just checked Credit Karma and my equifax score plummeted 92 points and I can't figure out why? I haven't had a late payment....no CO's????
I just signed up for Equifax's free trial and the score there is 80 points higher (so a small drop? I don't know, this is all far too confusing). I wish I could afford $60 a month for the My Fico.
Credit Karma uses Vantage 3 scores, if you had a large increase in utilization it can drop quite a bit and Equifax uses their own scoring system for the monitoring site which is different from Vantage 3.

I wouldn't trust CK's scores (Fako scores), your FICO scores will give you a better perspective of your score.

Equifax and Credit karma are both crap "FAKO" scores. Go and get your real FICO's from Credit Check Total, its $1 for a 7 day trial.
Indeed. MyFICO and CCT are essentially the only sites that deliver legitimate FICO scores that consumers can obtain themsleves. Their scoring models are based off of the FICO 8 score type. myFICO actually goes a few steps ahead and delivers mortgage, bank card and auto loan fico scores that are FICO 8 and of the old FICO scoring convention (Bankcard 5, FICO 2, etc). Cannto recommend them both more.
Signed up for Credit Check total yesterday! Thanks for the tip!
Reminder on my calendar! Thanks!
