Hippa process instructions

We have paid off almost all of our medical debt that went to collections. Now of course, I have all these paid collections on my report. When I search for help with this I keep seeing references to the HIPAA process. Is it too late for me? Can someone give me the link to the step by step instructions? I could not find the sticky. Or PM me if you can't link it. Thanks so much!
