How can I check if my collection got erased?

I had three credit cards all 3 credit cards went to collection. I paid it in full, but how can I check if it got erased from my credit history. I checked my credit on credit karma it says 620. I have a secured credit card for a year already trying to improve my credit.. thanks

Welcome to the forums !  

You will need to look at your credit reports to know for certain if the collections have been deleted or if they are still around.    You can pull reports directly from the CRAs or you can use a CMS like credit karma.

It varies by CA as to how receptive they are to requests to delete a paid collection.   Who are the CAs ?

I don't have an account with CK but I believe that there is somewhere that shows you your Transunion credit report details....

I also recommend pulling directly from the CRAs. CK only gives a summary. If you decide to look at it, log in and click on "Credit Report Card". Within tthat I think there's a link with "Derogatory Remarks" and within that there's a total. Just know that CK looks at paid baddies on a totally different wavelength than FICO. If anything is showing paid, the total can be off.

I use identity guard via costco (for the discount, not mandatory) and it tells you what is on your reports (all 3) including collection activities and what they are specifically.
