How can I get DOFD that was not included in a DV?

I requested a DV from a creditor but they only give me the date the account was open, charged off and the date the last payment was received but no information when I first missed a payment. This account was included in a BK. I think the DOFD was in May they showing on my CR Sept than Nov and from an earlier report with a different CR May so how can I have this corrected or at least moved under May 2013 instead of Nov 2013.

DVs are for collection agencies not OC.

 

Was the date of the last payment in April?  If it was, your DoFD would be May.

 

It is impossible for it to be Nov 2013 since that date is still 3 months away.

The report is stating that the date for the account is to be removed is Nov 2013. But on another report is was May 2013 when it should be removed. The company who now own the account states that my last payment was Nov 21, 2006. I filled the BK in Dec 18, 2006. The account was original with Bank of Delaware but now its with Merrick Bank.

If your last payment was Nov 2006 then the latest it can be removed is May 2014.

 

Some CRAs will remove at the 7 years mark which would be Nov 2013.

 

Not sure why they would have May 2013 but I wouldn't argue with them.

 

ETA:  Correct May 2013 to May 2014.

So both of them are technically correct, one is just not using the 6 months and they do not have to.
