Thanks, Robert. This is my first time filing a direct/623 dispute so I really appreciate the help.
One clarifying question: When I disputed with the CRAs I did not provide any documentation, I just stated my position that the DOFD was inaccurate. So, would the fact that I am now providing bank statements and copies of credit reports count as "new information"?
I'm totally fine with leaving out the fact that I disputed with the CRAs (especially since, if it is now in fact gone from Equifax, I don't want to somehow start a chain of events that puts it back on that report). I just want to make sure that the rest of the letter is strong enough that it won't get dismissed as frivolous.
