How long to wait before sending Goodwill letters

Hopefully I am posting this in the right place. I've had zero luck with PFD so I decided to just pay 3 of 4 collection accounts on my reports. They were reporting monthly and I figured it would be better to pay them as maybe they will stop updating monthly at least? That's my hope anyway. That being said, I thought maybe I would try to Goodwill them. Two are utility companies and one is Comcast which I'm not holding my breath for...but how long should I wait from the time I paid the CA to the time I start sending out letters? Is there a standard for this?

I'm certainly no expert, but as I understand it there's no limit to how many you can send. So, the sooner you get started the better. Only cost you a stamp.

I would start ASAP.  You have nothing to lose.  Even if your request is denied, you could try again in a year.

I have a 4 year old paid collection from Comcast that is with ERC.  They were quite adament that they do not dow GW removals.  Maybe you will have better luck with them.
