CreditOne has been good to me and I've treated them well. Not a huge limit @ 2200 but it's been good for rebuilding which was the goal.

I have a dirty profile, but my last derogatory was over 5 years ago. Penfed won't touch me with a 10 foot pole. Heck, I remember when they wouldn't touch you without a clean report and a score over 700. I'd be stoked to just be approved cause it can grow.

PenFed is kind of terrible. Just tried calling them to accept the offer and they said "we already closed it out cause you declined it yesterday." I asked if they still had my credit and they said "yes, but we have to do a new pull" and it hasn't even been a full 24 hours. Then they tried to, but they couldn't access my account for some reason, so once again, I told them never mind. Awful customer service and an awful user interface on the website.
Any other "everyone can be a member" CUs out there??
Well to put it lightly. You had the chance and refused because you didnt like the SL. Thats on you. They all have different guidelines. Hope you take into account what was posted so far for the future. So in a way. You have to take whats offered by better creditors when you can. All CU's are nice with their CLI's. Does every CSR with any company winner of the CSR of the Year? No. Dont let 1 bad apple ruin the bunch. Good luck on your next app.

Wait, wut? Seriously? BK'ers can get cards and just because you have a baddie from 5 yrs ago they wontopen the door for you? No friggin way. Doesnt seem right. You've made your way back with cards that us BK'ers cant have. #headscratcher

You have no idea how true this is. My limits are so high I'm embarassed to post them anymore. You can be five-years post a 60-day late and still get denied for a $1K card or be 5 years post BK7 (with the same income) and have $500K in available credit. But life's never been fair.

Yeah, not sure what it is about my profile that always makes me an outlier, but it made me finally stop applying. I'm just going to thin the herd and wait until my profile is completely clean. I may take a shot at chase in June, but probably not. I want to start with a decent limit instead of waiting on them or relying on a HP. Just don't want to roll the dice and end up with $1000.

Forget Chase, Amex and Citi your BK is way too recent for them even when not included in BK.Who did you include?
I had almost every single company discharged. Discover, Citi, Chase, Capital One, Amex, BoA, and Synchrony. So far, Capital One has let me back in with a card, but no one else. Discover won't even give me a secured card.
If you burned all the "real card" lenders then all you can do is wait. Eventually, Discover and Synchrony will approve you again but how long that will be is very YMMV
Discover won't even give me a secured card at two years out, so who knows. Does the type of Synchrony store card matter? Like will I have better luck with an Old Navy store card than an Amazon store card or is it all the same?
It's all the same.
I'm not so sure if this is true. PayPal just gave me a card, which says it's Synchrony, but I couldn't get an Amazon Store Card, which is also Synchrony.
I'm a little over 2 years from my Ch7 and I have the following
Capital One - $11,000
PenFed PCR - $1,500
OpenSky - $1,300
Credit One - $700
I burnt Amex, Citi, BoA, CapOne, Discover and Chase.
