There was a post about getting Midland deleted. I emailed a few people and never got a response. I paid Midland five months ago, and it's still showing as owing on my credit report. How do I get this deleted? Thanks in advance!
Did you send a PFD or did you pay it without the PFD?
This was done before joining the forum. So at the time I didn't know what a PFD was :-/
then all you can do is write a GW letter. you don't have any more leverage, since the debt is paid.

It is reporting incorrectly.
It is paid and there is really no harm in sending Midland a DV letter. They will either update it as paid or delete it from your CR.
I agree with Guiness, most of the time they will just delete. It has worked for me a time or two!
