Hello everyone! I am new to this forum, I am in the process of rebuilding my credit; however, I have these 5 derrogatory accounts lingering and keeping me from getting approved by other higher credit card companies. It is frustrating!!!! I am wondering if anyone has any idea on how to remove them? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

You've come to the right place. I'm sure someone (probably several someone's) will jump in soon & offer some advice. I'll get the ball rolling though b/c they're probably going to need a little more info to get started.
How old are the accounts? When you say derrogatory, are they charged off or just late...or, paid off & just late on your account? How old are the late payments? If they still have balances, what are the balances? What state do you live in?

Starting Score (02/01/2014): EQ 548 EX 548 TU 564
The very first question is whether any of the information being reported is incorrect. If they are all correct (but derogatory), then they will be excluded from reporting in accordance with the FCRA. The specifics about this aging varies by type of account (OC or CO typically). As the other poster said, we will need more information.

The first thing I would ask is are these paid or unpaid? are they only the original creditor or are they collection account?
Second thing is what are your positive current accounts?
