My FICO 8 is between 690 and 705 is it worth getting a loan of sorts to help my credit score? I do not need a car loan. I am preparing my score for a non near future mortgage (1 year or 2). What type of loan is preferable and from whom?

You could join a credit union and get a shared secure loan, and then lay it down as soon as possible to under 9%. Go to the search bar and type SSL to read about it.
