If you've already paid them off, then you can write GW letters to the CAs asking them stop reporting.
If you haven't paid them off, then you have some reading to do! If you can't pay them off, then you have extra reading to do before you do anything associated with them. Start with the stickied threads at the top of the forum. You'll need to figure out the DOFDs, what SOLs apply, and then start drafting PFDs (if you can pay). You'll learn all about the abbreviations in the abbreviations thread.
Once you have some background, you can post specifics to the forum, and we'll try to clarify what needs clarifying. But start with the threads at the top.
Sounds like you already have your reports, so that's a good start.
GW is a goodwill letter right?
Yes I do have to read that thread!
I already have paid them off and I have one that I am currently paying on right now, it is pretty small so it shouldnt last long. I had a few hick ups with my school loans now those show as late, but I have one of them in forebearance and the other one I am making payments on. I would love to have a 700 by the end of the year, that would be ideal of course, I know its going to take some hard work but I will take any help I can get. Where can I get a good GW letter from? Is there something on the internet that I could use?
I look forward to working with anybody who has any advice, thank you so much!!! I hope to hear back from you soon!
Welcome to the forums!
I'd suggest reading the following:
Common Abbreviations
Credit Scoring 101 - great for knowing what is in your credit score and to see how your score is impacted.
and What Steps Do I Take - great for learning the repair process.
Also, keep an eye on your SOL; you wouldn't anyone suing you. Examples letters can be found stickied within a thread called Frequently requested Threads, or something like that.
