My landlord shafted me by placing an old "bill" as a judgement. But that was more than 7 years ago. The judgement "expired" in September. It is now January and still shows on my report. My score in in the 580 club. I want it over 600 and think this can do it.
How do I get the report removed from my record?

It is only supposed to report for 7 yrs from the date it was filed. If that time has past I would dispute via mail to the CRA(s) as being time-barred. To support the dispute, I would include a copy of the judgment showing the filing date.
ETA...good golly, I am a slow typer.
same member, different screen name. Lost original PW.
It has not been satisfied. It was bogus to start. Long story but to get to some of the dirt, our original court date was set for 9-11. No court that day of course. We were never notified of new date. My brother about 2 years later tries to get a loan for school and is denied due to the judgement. We have been fighting our incompetent lawyer since and also tried to contact the other lawyer to no avail. So we let it sit. It showed on my report that it was due to expire or be removed in September of 2008.
So now I wonder what to do know. We are planning on moving in the Spring and want to get this cleared up, among some other smaller things.

Do you still have a Hard copy of this credit report?
Does your report show it is still due to be removed September 2008? If so, it appears this was filed in September 2001, and I would dispute it is obsolete with the CRA, as suggested.
Some states have court cases online, maybe you can check your state and if they do, you can find out exactly when it was filed.
I believe IL does.
