How to report settled debt?

Can you send a settled debt reciept to the creit bureau? I just settled an old debt that wont report on my credit report unil the creditor send the information at the end of the month. I'm trying to get a home loan and was wondering if it's possible?

You'll have to wait for the furnisher to send the info that you paid to the CRA's. Dont start a dispute. It will update when the creditor does their updates. Could be end of or beginning of the month. They all do it at different times.
