Hope this is the right place.
My wife has a collections from IC Systems for $77.44. We have done a DV and it is correct, so we sent them a PFD and also asked them to remove the comments of account in dispute. We have also called all three bureaus and asked them to process the removal of that comment as we are no longer disputing. IC Systems keeps adding it back on. So my wife called them today and asked them to remove the comment, in which they told her that if we pay them in full, they will remove the comment. We of course did not pay them. Is what they said illegal? I think it is, but maybe I'm wrong. Anyone know the answer to this and any advice?
