The above 4 medical collection were originally being reported by Med-Rev now Mohawk Assistance has two of them which one of them they changed the date from 12/09 to 1/10.
Recent Credit-----Walmart (1300), Amazon (1200), Old Navy (300), Fingerhut (850), Victoria Secrets (500)
Hidden Tradelines—BML (850), Newegg (2000)
My AAoA- is 2 years 5 months
I have 25 accounts in good standing---no lates or anything----majority are student loans
I currently have 4 pending disputes with Equifax why 4 who knows, the representatives don’t know what they are doing. I have filed a BBB complaint in regards to Med-Rev for their unethical practices. I filed a complaint with Consumer Finance and waiting on a response. I contacted Mohawk Assistance yesterday for an itemized bill which I received today the bill states the monies I owed, that I went to the emergency room and the emergency doctors name. I thought this is a violation of Hippa. Also the accounts they referenced doesn’t match Equifax Accounts that are being reported. I called Equifax today and they stated I can file another dispute. UMMMM no thank you.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

When all the dispute and complaint filing smoke clears and if the medical CAs survive your report you would use the HIPAA Process, you can Google it and then contact its creator for assistance if you need it we cannot discuss it on this board. Good luck
Thank you for your response. The judgement is not paid, I called Equifax for early removal and that was a joke. From my research I could be wrong though...NYS wont remove unpaid judgements before its time. How would a GW letter benifit if the collection is unpaid? As far as the medical collections, I understand that the Hippa Process cant be discussed on the forums, so I googled it and became confused very quickly. I contact the the OC for the medical collections didnt state my name but stated that I would be in some time in September to offer a settlement in return for a deletion, and we'd both be happy. She didnt appear resistent to the idea, just crossing my fingers. This forum has helped me, words cant express how thankful I am. I was able to remove three recent collections, and disputed many, still waiting on results, but its a step in the right direction. Thanks again.

Ahhh, ya my error on that didnt realize it was unpaid, you would attempt PFD directly with the creditor on those then, on the judgment I would tread very lightly and only contact them to arrange a settlement if you actually have the funds in hand to settle, judgments in most states can be renewed forever so at some point you are going to have to settle it or they will come at you with bank account or other asset seizure even wage garnishment if allowed in the state you are living in. If that judgment is not in the same state that you are it first would have to be domesticated into the state you are living in before any actions could be taken against you, that takes money and it would be to your advvantage in a settlement. On the medicals if you already contacted the hospital what you want to do when you go in is have them cancel and recall the collection (this gets it off your CR) then just pay the medical facility directly the amount owed.
Can a judgement contintue to report after 7 years? It has fallen off Experian and Tranunion, last updated jan 2012. This judgement was a reprosession, and was won by default. I was young and stupid. I dont want to pay for car that was a lemon. I have another two years of schooling, and would love to purchase a home this is the main reason I am rebuilding. The judgement will be ten plus years old, would I have I settle before becoming a homeowner? As far as the med collections, they are low balances thanfully and hope to pay no more the 50% of what is owed, before I make payment I should get deletion in writing,,correct? If i can get these medical collections off id be golden, I would just have one derog set to fall off in 2016 on Transunion and Equifax. Thanks again.
@Anonymous wrote:Can a judgement contintue to report after 7 years? No it can only report for 7 yrs from the date it was issued but this has no bearing on the enforcability of the judgment its still a valid open judgment till its either settled or the plaintiff fails to renew it according to state law. You would just want to get from the hospital a statement that says they are recalling or canceling the collection, you are not going to get a letter from the CA since you are basically cutting them out and dealing with the OC.. If i can get these medical collections off id be golden, I would just have one derog set to fall off in 2016 on Transunion and Equifax. Thanks again.
Thank you so much.

My Experian is 685 and Horrible Equifax is at 641 per denial letter from Pay Pay Credit (increase). I thank you all for the incredible information. My current goal is to garden as well have all 3 ficos scores at a 720.
