Is Midland Credit Management legit

I recently received a notice from Midland Credit Management that says they owe my debt from capital one  but I know for fact it is still with capital one or moreso a credit agency connected to capital one (i'm currently paying them back).  Will they try to report on my credit report becasue I have seen that they have pulled my report a few times. Also do I need to file a police report. Thank you for whatever advice

Capital one collection agency/Kilma, Peter and Daly law firm. They are actually reporting on my capital one /creidit report too. The midland agency increased my original amount by 2000 too, plus the number for Midland  on my credit report is defunct. It just so weird

What exactly is showing on your reports? All 3 of these entities (Cap One, the CA/law firm, *and* MCM)?

What is the DOFD on this debt with Midland?

They have a great program if you pay a debt, that they will remove the TL from your report if the DOFD is over 2 years.

Yes, Midland is legit! They are very good with Pay For Delete! I had a collection with them, after it was paid, my collection was deleted in 2 to 3 weeks on all bureaus !
