I know that it doesn't change credit scores, but I have way too many addresses on my Experian report. Should I try to get the incorrect ones removed? It shows five options for one address where I lived. I think it shows 30 plus addresses with many of them being so similar.
i.e no apt number/apt 1/ apt 13/ apt 138/ apt 1389/ apt 13892
Is this just more of a clean up type thing, or should I make an attempt to only show the one correct address on my report?

yes you want to clean this up, the more addresses on file the greater the chance of ID Theft. Send the CRAs each a letter asking that all addresses be removed except for your current address. You want to send a copy of your ID and a CC or util bill showing your current address along with the letter. EX may not remove one that is attached to a current reporting TL.
So the letter can be as simple as just requesting the addresses be removed?
Thanks for helping. I definitely want to make sure that they clear my reports of that information.

In addition to increased risk of ID theft, it can also cause problems for you if you're seeking credit, and/or obtaining your free annual reports (not sure if it also impacts paid reports, as I've never done so.) There have been times when I've been asked to confirm info from my reports including previous addresses, so you can imagine the headaches that will lead to if they're pulling the wrong address.

I am requesting that you delete all addresses you have on file except for my current address listed above. I also request that you delete all name and SSN variations you may have on file for me. My name is to be listed as above. Your immediate attention to this matter will be most appreciated. I have enclosed a copy of my true SSN and a credit card bill showing my current address. I request an updated full copy of my credit report be sent to me via US Mail upon completion of these things. I thank you for your time in advance.
Sincerely,
XXXXX
Before requesting correction, be sure to save detailed copies of your credit reports from the big 3 bureaus. Then afterwards, compare again for changes, in particular, missing tradelines.
Not likely to be an issue based on the info you've mentioned, but always a possibility, since bureaus don't rely on SSN alone. There are many with shared SSNs (id theft, undocumented workers, etc), so name(s) and address(es) along with other attributes are also used for identifying a particular file.
On a related note, try to determine which creditors may be reporting the wrong address info. You may never figure that out, but if you can, that may be another avenue to pursue in your address correction quest.
