It's been 7 years

I have 15+ negative accounts that are all 7 years old or close. While checking my credit reports I found that they all had different dola dates. Since I don't have any of the paperwork on these accounts I don't know which ones are correct if any are. How can I go about getting the information on these accounts if I'm past the 30 day period to dispute

For better responses, can you post the information that shows on your CR?  The 7 year period goes from the DOFD not the DOLA.

To add- you need reports directly from the CRA to get this information. Reports from third party suppliers, like myFICO or TrueCredit, will not have this information.

Not sure what you are asking for. Should I cut and paste the negative entries from the reports?

Re: It's been 7 years

I think I asked the question wrong. Can I write the  CA and request a DV  and expect an answer even though they have owned these for awhile and I'm sure they sent notices  some time back.

If so is there a sample DV  letter that does not refer to their letter of notice

Re: It's been 7 years

FDCPA allows you 30 days after you receive the initial dunning letter to request DV.

If you happen to be a resident of Texas, state law allows you to DV at anytime.

You can always request DV, whether they answer or not is another story. Some may and some may reply with "its been more than 30 days".

If it has been near 7 years, these accounts should be close to being removed from your CR. IMO, let it be if they are due to be removed soon.
