Judgement question

Low and behold I have a judgement that is on my record and not on my credit report.

If the date of first deliquency is well past 7 years and the judgement is not on any of my 3 credit reports, will settling and pay it off, put it back on my credit report?

This is an urgent matter I need to take care of.

Re: Judgement question

Short answer: no it shouldn't unless they misreport

when did this debt go delinquent?

when was judgement granted?

What state are you in?

2012 or 2011. I'm not sure as it's no longer on my credit report.

Judgement was filed in 2015, it was granted 2/2017.

I'm currently in TX but this occured in California.

Thank you for your quick reply @Anonymous

I offered them 25% and they are willing to take it with an ach payment. They said I can get a release of lien after the payment clears. I have 45 days to close. Not sure if I can get this timing down.

Re: Judgement question

Is there a lien against your house?

what state was the judgement granted, TX or CA?

who was the original creditor?

if you live in Texas, they have some friendly consumer protection laws against your assets just FYI

The judgement was granted in California.

State Farm (credit card)

No lien against my house, wage garnishment, or anything. Just a judgement that is public record I need to pay off for a mortgage application.
