Judgement removed from Equifax. Now what?

I have had 2 judgements on my credit report from 4 years ago and I was never notified that this was being done and the address they had was wrong. I disputed with experian and it came back as verified. I disputed with equifax and guess what? Equifax sent me a letter today saying it was being removed from my credit file. I haven't checked transunion yet. I am new to this whole credit repair thing and i have a question. Do I have to re-dispute with experian? How do I get it off of all 3 reports? Also, big thanks to everyone here. I just sent out DV letters and cannot wait to see what I get back.

Re: Judgement removed from Equifax. Now what?

What you need to do is get the judgment vacated.

Then you need to send copies of the order from the courts saying it has been vacated to the CRA.

Equifax told me it was being deleted because they contacted the court and there was no reason to have it. I still need to have it vacated? How do I do that? I am new to this whole thing. This is the first time I am posting.

Re: Judgement removed from Equifax. Now what?

If a judgment was entered against you in court, then you need to contact the courthouse in the county where it went to court and get a copy of it.

If you were not properly served or this was not your debt, you will need to file a motion to vacate. If this is approved, it erases the judgment as if it never existed.

This is what you need to do. Otherwise, you will have a judgment still against you.
