Judgment question

I have a judgment on my CR, can it be deleted by the credit union that had it against me? Or once a judgment is on your CR it can not be removed?

Re: Judgment question

A judgment can be vacated on motion from you or the plaintiff's attorney.  Most of the time, you only get a vacatur if you weren't properly served.  The original creditor (plaintiff) will direct you to their attorney.  Look up "motion to vacate" in the search box--lots of threads available on the process for this.

Re: Judgment question

I am also having an issue with a judgement. I was served a request to garnish my income tax refund. I am confident that the debt is older than the statute of limitations, but there is no info on my credit reports regarding the creditor's phone number so that I can gather information about this account. Just an amount and to who it is owed is on my reports.

I need info in order to challenge the court.
