Just need some clarification about when derogatory items are removed...

I've read in some threads that derogatory items are removed 7 yrs (+ 180 days) after date of FIRST delinquency; then I've read they are removed 7 yrs (+ 180 days) after most RECENT delinquency.  Anyone care to comment?

First. As in, the date when the account fell behind & never recovered.

so for instance, I had a 30, 60, 90, 120 day late from Aug - Dec 2006; then 30, 60 day late a year later in 2007; would it be 7 years from 2007?

If the account was never CO'd or went to collections and only had late payments, each late will be removed 7 years from it's date of occurence.  Those lates in Aug - Dec 2006 will be removed Aug - Dec 2013.  Then for each late in 2007, in the corresponding months in 2014 they will be removed.
