Kohls latest - how to remove?

I had a stroke in 2014 that left me incapacitated. I did my best to pay my bills but completely forgot about Kohls. How do I get lated removed from early 2015? I've continued to maintain the account since these Elites happened and never been late again and only carry very small balances that I paid in full so I now have another Solid 3 plus years of great history with them. I spent two hours on their corporate website looking for emails and I don't even know where to start

Kohl’s is backed by Capital One, so your pathway would be emailing/snail-mailing them goodwill letters requesting deletion of the lates. If you have medical paperwork from that period that you could include to back your story (redacting personal info of course), that might go a long way toward helping it happen, as CapOne is notorious for not adjusting anything they’ve reported.
