I think to get it vacated you have to have a reason. If you were served and did not appear you probably are out of luck. Unless you got a letter from the compnay when you made the arrangements stating that legal action was being stopped due to the arrangements I don't think you have any room to maneuvar. In a situation like that, it is your responsibility to follow up with the courts and make sure of any arrangements and that the lawsuit was postponed pending payment.
In my case with LVNV, they did not serve us so the judgement is not valid.
