A PP "debt" from 2017 just arrived in my mailbox. (I gotta give it to the Debt Collector') knowing full well that the SOL for consumer debt is 3 years, they've "graciously" made a payment on this 'purchased debt' for me in the amount of $5.47.  (How mice of them)

Thinking that this would re-set the SOL from 2017 to a new Date of Last Activity = (enter the $5.47) payment they say took place.

*sigh.... smh... well, off to the mailbox I go.

Male sure to send a nice polite letter about them paying your bills without permission.  May I suggest fire proof gloves to handle the polite letter? Also send a copy to the federal and the states attorney offices as well. Good luck
