What did you ask them, or what did you do?

Re: Lvnv collection letter

Depending on what you were inquiring about, it's possible they no longer have control of debt. Possibly sold to another agency.

Re: Lvnv collection letter

I hired a company to repair my credit as I don't have the time or patience. I just received this today. So I'm assuming they disputed some information on my behalf.

Re: Lvnv collection letter

Don't assume. If you're paying someone to do the repair, call them and confirm it. Have them explain the current circumstances.

This is for your own good. Most of us here have a very dim view of credit repair outfits for good reason. Make sure things are permanently handled.

We generally discourage the use of "credit repair" companies, but since you already hired one and it seems they've done something, I would suggest following up with them.

I didn't know NFCU sells it because there is a repo on my report from late 2018 & it is still with them.
